Hex 300 2x150kVA

Flexible power supply

Each power plant container can produce 2 x 150 kVA, and by connecting up to six power plant containers together, the system can produce up to 1.8 MVA, which covers most needs.

A HEX system consists, just like HES, of up to 6 pcs. power plant containers each 300kVA plus a switchgear container of 2MVA. However, the HEX power plant container contains 2 pcs. power plants of 150kVA each, unlike HES, which has 1 pc. 300kVA power plant.

The HEX power plant container can alone form a power plant system in which one 150kVA machine provides full redundancy for the other, with automated restart in the event of the first machine's failure. Both machines can be run in parallel with full automation for start/stop, phasing, and load sharing.

Up to 6 pieces HEX power plant containers (12 150kVA power plants) can be operated simultaneously with complete automation via the switchgear. In addition, any number (up to 6) of HES power plant and HEX power plant containers can be mixed in the system. The system can be fed with fuel from an external 19,000-liter tank module for continuous operation during periods.

Designed for high demands

HEX is designed to provide electricity to a worldwide operative battalion.
To be used internationally, all components of the system must be transportable by car, rail, ship, and plane. The units can be carried in a TP84 cargo area with crew. All containers are manufactured to meet marine-class specifications.

Fully automated operation

The HEX system manages electricity generation automatically based on load. In the event of a power outage, all power plant containers are automatically activated to provide high starting power, and production is then adjusted to the actual demand by shutting down power plants that are no longer needed. The load can be split between power plant containers and the local grid.
